| 'ansicht'
is a series of video installations consisting of little, single screen projections.
The fixed shot shows places of tourism, places with any touristic value
or activity. The image evolves monotonously and changes very
minimal. In the context of tourism 'ansicht' focuses on the human intervention in the landscape. As an allusion to the traditional picture-postcard this series of videos tends to question and play with the conventions of what's generally considered to be 'worth seeing'.
